Introduction To Body Detox

Detox, detoxification, or the process of neutralization or elimination of toxins from the body. Toxins are chemicals in our body, such as oral contraceptives, perfume and aftershave, cigarette smoke and alcohol, additives, pesticides, detergents and Mercury. Our bodies naturally detoxify and excrete these chemicals in them through our feces or urine.

So why the need to help detoxification?

Experts believe that the enormous amount of toxins that can accumulate in our bodies every day to water supply and the environment. The structure of the toxins can be so large that our bodies do not efficiently detoxify the deficiencies, inefficient metabolism and hormonal disorders can result. Symptoms can be lethargy, dull skin, allergies and occasionally pain. Over time, toxic accumulation can lead to disease. A detox diet with herbs and supplements or a special diet, it is believed, used to strengthen institutions to promote detoxification and excretion of accumulated toxins through the skin, liver, lungs, kidneys, intestines and the lymphatic system.

Detoxification diets are believed to prevent chronic diseases such as cancer and heart disease. People with the report of detox diets that relieves symptoms such as weakness and fatigue, joint pain and headaches, PMT and irritability, constipation and gas and also improves the skin. Symptoms of toxicity may be similar to other illnesses so before a detox diet is the best, the symptoms begin to discuss with your doctor.

While you are on a detox diet is very normal symptoms worsen for a short period, for example, may experience more headaches and other aches and dry or oily skin, and this is due to the toxins from your body through all in large quantities. In general, these symptoms pass within a few days.
